BACKGROUND
On July 13th, 2023, human remains were discovered by a Border Patrol helicopter patrolling around Las Cruces, New Mexico.
The victim is believed to be an adult Hispanic woman. She weighed approximately 96 pounds and stood at approximately 4’8” in height. She had long, black hair. She had a silver window grill on her right front tooth.
She was found wearing a black long-sleeved cropped top, blue jeans, gray/white socks with “yellow cartoon characters”, and black “Sketchers” tennis shoes/sneakers. She also had 200 Mexican pesos, a small mirror with a photo of Charlize Theron on the back, a tin of “Clotriplex” cream, a tan bottle that I cannot read/make out any words on but it seems like some sort of moisturizer or beauty product, a white charging cord, and a white charging block.
(*I will be doing a lot of cases of Doe’s who likely passed when crossing the Mexico-United States border. A lot of these cases have very little information provided.*)
CLOTHING/ITEMS – On the body, the following was noted

- Blue jeans (No brand or size noted)
- Gray/white socks with yellow cartoon characters (No brand or size noted)
- Black tennis shoes/sneakers (Brand “Sketchers”; no size noted)
- Small mirror with photo of Charlize Theron on the back
- 200 Mexican pesos
- White charging cord and white charging brick (Not on list of items found with her on NamUs but is in the photo provided on NamUs)

- 1 LOCATION OF DISCOVERY – While NamUs says the area is Las Cruces, if you search the coordinates, it shows it as being in Santa Teresa. I just wanted to note this.
